Direct and fast transfer
The ATVO shuttle bus offers an express service (line 35) between Venice Marco Polo Airport and Piazzale Roma in Venice. Unlike the local ACTV bus, which makes stops in Mestre, the ATVO runs directly and usually reaches its destination in about 20 minutes, making it the most time-saving bus option.
Stops and connections
Departure from the airport: ATVO buses stop directly in front of the arrivals hall at Marco Polo Airport. The stops are well signposted (often platform no. 3).
Arrival / departure in Venice:
The final stop is Piazzale Roma, the gateway to Venice's historic city centre. Here you will find the main bus stops, taxi ranks and vaporetto (water bus) stops, which you can use to reach your final destination in Venice.
Prices and tickets
Ticket prices are competitive and usually include one piece of luggage:
Return tickets typically offer an open return with no time limit, making them very flexible.
Ticket purchase online:
In advance via the ATVO website or other ticket portals.

At the ATVO counters and ticket machines in the baggage claim and arrivals hall.
At Piazzale Roma:

Comfort and service:
ATVO buses are usually modern coaches offering the following amenities:

Spacious luggage compartment:
There are separate compartments for suitcases, which makes travelling with a lot of luggage easier.
Important note:

The ATVO shuttle is therefore the first choice for anyone looking for a fast, comfortable and direct connection from the mainland to the historic centre of Venice before transferring to the vaporetto or continuing on foot.
